you could change the : "My Services, Contact me, resources, testimonials" to text. Although almost not important at all, remember to separate your keywords with commas, right now it is just a long text. Also a CSS template will help you a long way in your design, readability and speed, that way the whole table problem disappears here is a good list on that: http://acomment.net/9-top-css-essential-skills-that-every-web-designer-should-learnas a designer I would advise you to use a different set of colors, maybe a more pale blue, read any good article on typography, that will help readability Anything else, I'm too green to spot it.

Some quick thoughts...
Move all the css and design elements of the page. Remove this meta tag <meta name="Revisit-after" content="14 days" /> Add a favicon. Add some pictures or jazz it up a bit. It looks old. I take it your trying to get a top listing for Emotional Freedom Technique? If so then you should try and link to the home page with this link text from all the other site page. At the moment you have a "HOME" link at the top. Change the link text to "Emotional Freedom Technique". It may be a little confusing for your visitor but you are taking proper advantage of internal linking. Add a redirect from domain.com/index.htm to domain.com/. You can get some really easy to use css templates. If i was you Id get a 2 column layout and convert the site. Hope these tips help!

I always use this tool - www.sitereportcard.com - It's basic, it's free - but it's very handy to have, you need to get linking - www.pheedster.com/directories.php is where I started years ago - then www.mygreencorner.com followed by www.joeant.comBasic rules on linking - be in the correct section of the directory - use your keywords/anchor text in the site description - aim the link to the correct landing page - link all pages not just the homepage.

Personally, I think you have too much information all clamouring for the viewer's attention and - therefore - no one message is really getting across.
Whilst I don't dislike the top banner picture, I would take out - or reposition or really reduce the size of - the "Advancedtherapies.co.uk", the "Free Consultations! EFT Emotional Freedom Technique!" , "BT sessions available by telephone ..." and the "Welcome to the Advanced Therapies Website!" I would then give prominence to the words on the right hand of the banner and probably shorten them slightly so that a new viewer can see at a glance what your site is about. In my view, "Free consultations" could be put - slightly - further down the screen - you have to make someone interested in your product before they will want a consultation - free or otherwise.
I personally would also shorten the main text - it is a lot to read.
Hope this helps.

Sorry if this a noob question but what do you mean by "you could change the : "My Services, Contact me, resources, testimonials" to text." in what way? you could change the : "My Services, Contact me, resources, testimonials" to text. Thanks for all your help and replies everybody. I would love to redesign my website with CSS/XHTML but i just about get my head around HTML lol. I am willing to have a go though.
I have started on the home page and done some of the advice already given. As I am a bit of a (ok well a lot) noob would somebody mind checking my home page. I want to make sure what I have done so far is correct before I attempt more.
It is going take me a long time to do all 25 pages one page a a time. I take if my site was in CSS a lot of the changes would happen to all the pages. So say at the monent if I altered the link on the left hand side titled "What is hypnosis?" to say "How can hypnosis help you?" I would have to change that on every one of my web pages, page by page. If it was CSS would the change made at the homepage page/point also automaticallu update the other pages with the change?

I can see that you've taken out some of the text in the masthead. However, the central message of your site still isn't hitting me as I look at it - in my personal opinion, I think you need to use larger text and/or coloured text and - probably - redesign the masthead to give focus to this text, possibly putting the text in the middle? Obviously, you need to redo the spot on the left which looks as if you have "rubbed out" the words that were there.
Would words such as:
EFT Emotional Freedom Technique Effective, safe healing for the mind and body Often works where all else has failed
help to tell the reader at a glance what your site does? (The words "effective solution" didn't immediately tell me that your site was to do with healing and didn't tell me that it could heal the body as well as the mind.)
Obviously, this is your site and you know it far better than I do so feel free to develop it how you wish.
Hope this helps.

Hi Enner100
Remember that a lot of the advice on Keyword Research is written for people who are trying to do something different than you. It's often for people looking to create a new site and/or product from scratch, who are looking for a profitable niche (ie. one with lots of traffic, and/or the potential for Adsense earnings).
You already have your service, so it's more a case of finding what terms people search for that relate to your services, and then using your experience to decide which ones are most likely to convert into paying customers. For example you may find lots of people search for "phobias" but people searching for "phobia cure in London" are much more likely to be looking to buy.
Put yourself in the mind of your potential customers (using your experience of past customers). What kind of problems most likely motivate people to use your service? What words do they use to express those problems? Then use those words as the basis of your research.
Take note of the exact phrasing that the keyword tools show you. For example, I was recently researching for a beauty clinic. I noticed that the terms "facelift" and "face lift" were both common, but "facelift" had 50% more searches. So I would put "facelift" in a page title on their site, then use both ways of spelling it in the body text.
Hope that helps
Cheers, Jon
