Hello folks

Could you take a look at this for me please and make suggestions on how to increase my traffic to http://www.india-in-my-nightie.blogspot.com/  I have just started, again, registering with directories listed on the Vile Silencer website, but what a painfully slow and frustrating job that is.

This is one of five blogs that I currently run - all of these hosted on blogger - so I suspect your suggestions on this one, will be relevant for the others as well.

Many thanks

Paul

Hey Paul,

I have a few tips for getting traffic to your blog:
- Add social bookmarking links and get friends to bookmark and share them. Digg is a good one and stumbleupon is great for traffic.
- add your RSS feed to RSS directories. http://www.rss-specifications.com/rss-directory.htm
- sign up on blogtoplist, mybloglog and http://blogs.botw.org/

Hope this helps Smiley

Munkys tips are good. Theres a few more here:

I find lots of comment posting and relationship building with other blog owners is the best course of action. Blog rolls are great but they take some blagging to get. If you know any other blog owners ask them to add you to their blog roll and you'll do the same.

Sneaky  Wink

Read an article the other day (didnt bookmark it sorry!) about a guy who suggested improving PR by setting up an non-sales, non affiliated, information resource blog for your industry sector (you know the sort of thing!). Getting your competitors to link to it then 301ing the lot to your own site!!! HA! Sneaky bugger!

Cheers mate; yes, done the comment posting and blog-rolls bit but only small scale to date.  I'll check out the link you've given; thanks.

Make sure you add rel=nofollow to peoples links in their comments. Dont want to leak that valuable PR Wink
