Hello Friends,
Why does some sites rank well in MSN but Not in Google. What are the factors which leads to such behavior. Do any of you have answer for this.

Welcome Bonny - place the URL of your website here www.sitereportcard.com and see how you rate on links etc. MSN tends to pick up sites earlier than Google.

Make some posts in our breakroom to bring up your post tally then you can post your site and we can take a look see Smiley

The obvious answer is that they use different algo's.

They each use different factors to rank sites. MSN's algo is less complicated that Google and seems to use less factors.

For MSN rankings look at:

Incoming Anchor Text Links (Sitewides are good!)
Keywords in H1 tags
Keywords in Page Title
Logged
