Has anyone seen muliple sites fall out of the index recently?
I have seen 2 sites dissapear, nothing when searching for domain or site:operator. The sits had not been using any "blackhat" tecniques. Anyone else experiencing this?

Also, anyone got access to Live Search Webmaster Portal?

My newer sites are suffering - but the older one is doing fine. I don't pay that much attention to Live - it's basically showing very similar results to Ask.

Lots of sites are falling all over the place. It should be just a matter of time for things to sort out.

Splong has his very own resources.

Sure - 2 weeks is a pain - but ASK can take up to 12 months to produce correct results. It's out of our hands. Unless you know any short cuts that will not have the adverse effect on Google

I just checked MsDewy (always a pleasure) as sometimes that shows MSN results slightly ahead of Live - but NO - still the same crap results.

I think the big boys are going with a over haul. They might just be testing. Probably will take some time for all searches to be sorted out.

i've noticed that over the past week or so several of our sites have dropped out of the rankings completely.. its bizarre!

they still rank highly in Google and Yahoo, so its really suprising that the Live no longer ranks the sites..

I'm in the Beta, and the tools are as described in the links above.

I am hoping what they have supplied is just the first wave, the tools are rather bland.  I haven't had any troubleshooting issues, so I can't speak to the error reporting.

LOL, I just peeked in.... An old sub domain of mine, gone 6 months is listed as one of my "top" ibls...With their domain rank of 4  :?

I have been unable to validate my Blogger blog, as they do not provide an xhtml Meta verification.  Blogger translates regularly coded Meta tags into proper format, and the tools cannot verify it     When the Beta first started, I sent in the feedback report on this issue, but it remains.

There is a kw search that has potential, but it does not report position.  Only the pages within the site that are ranked "somewhere" for the kw/phrase.

I don't check the Live serps often, but lately upon checking they have been jumping around quite a bit.   Sometime 10 pages back, only to return to the previous position the next day.

The load time is really slow and that never helps - No visible links?

What are your linking strategies?
