They ranked me about the same as Google for this site except for 1 query..and this one pisses me off! The sites above me, are crap. They have no SEO, they are coming to me for help, and they are nice people...but they are trny page designers...Look at this one

Keyword in text 1x, in title 1x, keyword tag 1x, and a thoroughly STUFFED description. The Title relevance is 33% and keywords 44%..Mine are 100 & 100
Can't be links either I have 5x as many. My G link pop is 295 hers is 60.
Like I said, I like her, have actually been helping her out...but DAMN! She is nowhere to be found in Google. I gave her a link, and I will feature her next month in the designers spot. She gave me a link back, but I asked that she nofollow it.
The thing is I don't even care that she is above me, its the lack of any tangible ranking perspective on the part of Ask that bugs me. My site is top 10 Y, G, and MSN...plus Alta, Aol, and Dogpile for almost all of its terms....They can't ALL be wrong and Ask is right. Her sight is still invisible to all of these engines except, MSN where I am #1 and she is 5, and mamma where they seem to be showing Ask's results exactly.
What does Ask look at? Keyword tag? Title? I dunno..they still suck!
I don't really care except that there doesnt seem to be any rhyme or reason to how they rank and index sites. It's no wonder they provide so little traffic and cannot make a dent in their market share even by dumping millions of dollars in advertising....Maybe they should put some dollars in technology?
