Hi guys and gals,

I am new here and also new to affiliate marketing. I can see from some of the posts here, that you guys know what you are doing and was wondering if you would mind offering any advice (good or bad) about my site & blog.

My main concern is getting traffic to it as you can probably imagine, but also I want to keep the visitors for longer than a couple of seconds.

Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

The first thing I notice is that sitepal thing.  I've seen it around and I think its a good idea but turn the settings so that it doesn't play unless someone clicks on it.  Sound bombardment is always a turn off for visitors and it may be a reason they only stay mere seconds.  Give them the option to play the sound and people may be more receptive.

Thanks for your response. I have had the same said to me before and am currently monitoring the effects of sound on/off by way of one avatar on my site being set to immediate play and the other on my blog to play on click only. I don't have any results to mention yet, but thank you for pointing it out to me.

IS it a good idea to add a flash file in your website? Would that hinder the speed of loading the page?
