I am a little concerned about this one.  There are a few threads around, but here is a letter from Adsense to a webmaster....a NON answer.

I am thinking it will be a problem...because BlogRush uses a credit/affiliate system to display the link titles...therefore could be construed as "artificially generating ad impressions" and it does "offer incentives for users to view web pages".

I realize this is kinda vague in nature, but Google is just too flaky right now....I have removed the widget from my Blog.

this is just the standard adsense response to just about everything Smiley

The adsense support team are some of the worse in the business they are overwhelmed by small publishers and so rely heavily on automated and semi automated systems. The email almost certainly wasn't read by anyone who would even know what blogrush was but picked up the tone and then wrote a standard reply.

Its even worse if you query click fraud Wink

However if you stop and think about it you will quickly realise the system is not against their TOS as you are not offering incentive to everyone who clicks that link also artificial generated clicks is like wise a myth otherwise they would have to block banner exchanges and all impression or click based systems so would have to ban the use of adwords for driving traffic to a site with adsense.

That said the blog rush widget looks horrible and is reason enough to not use it. Also while the A listers are running around promoting it in reality its just a link pyramid scheme those at the top will get links those small bloggers will get a widget that drives traffic from their site.

As long as it not pay per visitor and the user has to click on a "ad" / "title" then should be fine..

I need to take them down, sadly stumbleupon doesn't provide an easy way to create a thumb up like digg, so you have to choose either submit (and then once its submitted people get an error or review but then you don't get thumbed up Sad
