i just got a comment on my blog asking me how much to stick a link on my blogroll to their site.  Obviously the sheer fact that they are interested means i will think twice about touching them with a 50' barge pole but how much is a reasonable price for this kind of service?  Dunno where i'd stand with the likes of the big G but with directories getting their plums baked i will probably think twice if someone that looks legit asks

I don't think peddling one link is gona bring the Google cops..but it is a risk.  The greater risk is why this guy needs to pay for Blog links.

People buy and sell links all the time, although i'd be slightly concerned he's just publiced it on your blog!

If the site relates to your subject matter and is a good quality site why not?

further investigation shows their email address is bogus - i guess they were hoping i'd publish their comment so they got a linkback to their site that way lol.  I thought i was getting enough spam in my email(typical weekend from friday night to monday morning can mean i have to go thru around 1500 spam messages)
