Totally unconnected - you can only gain links from the Net -so the Press releases would have to be on line.

Take a look at this - it might help

Hi,
I've used online press releases in the past, e.g. prweb.com to promote online business opportunities.
They work in the same way as articles and you can include your link at the bottom of the press release (e.g. for more information see our website http://whateveryoursiteis.com).
Kind regards,
Tony

I use PRWeb mainly to distribute my PRs..  it's very good for backlinks and traffic.  And great for exposure..

I know one person in particular that I've worked with that got one of hers' picked up by her local media..  and got an interview that was posted in a high distribution offline newspaper.

Like all things it's going to depend on how well it's done, how it's pitched, the saturation, what you are competing against..  and if there is interest and demand for what you are doing.

It plays a roll in my overall marketing strategy..   Cool

Has anyone ever used PresFlow.co.uk? It's suposed to be free but i'm not sure if anyone has actually had any luck with it or not?

We have in-house PR but we've never really gone into the online side...would be interested to hear peoples comments.

Hi Tom - I thought of a concept around 6 years ago which is now universally used - I wish I could have copywrited it

http://www.google.com/alerts

I place my keywords into the system based on blogs and news features it is a cheap way of generating places to write topic related text and it works. Cool
