Yes,this is always going to be a problem, webmasters frequent the same places, webmasters are the ones looking for sites like the votetop.com.  The same problem arises with Web directories. those that get good listings are invariably visited by a very high percentage of webmasters. (because this is who the promotion work is pointed at) most directories see very few of the regular punters.

sometime the need arises to break free from the webmaster population. . . but its tricky. You need a strategy that breakls the inevitable circuit. and this usually is only done by having huge numbers of non webmaster traffic. but it's a 'catch 22' . .
the site often has to be successful, before it attracts users.  It's a bugger! . .

I figure its a way potentially to get a pr4 none reciprocal backink

My site is only 4 months old and my sort is currently screwed up I’ll have that fixed asap today.

I created it to find the Best websites regardless of page rank etc. but most people only submit their own websites it’s a bit of a launch pad for new websites.

It’s fully interactive your site appears immediately, you don’t have to reciprocate
But you might want to get your visitors to vote for you Tongue
If you click “Link to this” under your entry it will present you with the code (in a sexy ajax way) to link to your individual entry
to get people to vote for you.

Help me get this web developer community going by checking your some of the sites and voting
(joining is instant too - it doesn’t do annoying email validation )

Sorry about the sort it will be working as stated soon.

The site is http://www.votedtop.com

Says under submit a favorite site you have to log in. Is this correct? Where does one add their site?
