Hi,

This is my first post at this forum... So, I am looking for sites with PR 3+ for link deals and exchanges. Please PM for detailed discussion. NB! Only  UK based sites!

Hmmm, well, how do you suggest I do that. The things I have done is basically for clients.

I have among other things successfully placed a client site from not being there to be top-3 for several keywords on the most competitive market (one of the most competitive anyway). And it stays there, and has done so for soon 12 months. Only on-page SEO and good link strategies, I always consider the so important and often forgotten internal linking structure when working with a client.

So you advocate 3 way linking?

Now some people here might think that's a good idea. Me? Well I'll watch this post with interest as I do not believe in cluttering up websites with links pages. But internal links - cool

I would not do an exchange with someone who offers me a link on a link page.

Good - I was going by your post 'So, I am looking for sites with PR 3+ for link deals and exchanges'

Can't be too careful -especially as my stance on PageRank is universally known -0^0-

3 way links work, but I wouldn't call them honest work

Good content, and link baiting....some social bookmarking, and directory submissions....

I don't clutter up pages with links out either

Well honest and honest, link baiting is one way to manipulate Google, as the purpose is to get links. From a philosophical point of view you can, if you like, consider all SEO to be blackhat.

3-way linking is of course a very efficient method of getting good links, if you know what you are doing!

Isn't manipulate and honest together an oxymoron?

However the poor guy comes here hoping for warm welcome to peddle his links, and you all start picking on him just because he broke a few cardinal rules on Link building and used the PR word doesn't mean you should crucify the poor lad.

I'm sure he will come back and tell use a the niche of the sites he is looking for, along with some idea of traffic his sites have.

Hehehehe, I´m pulling the nails now.

I did the post based on the factors that I currently work from in this case. I do not see it as a big cardinal rule breaking.

What ever people think about PR, I find it to be a good way to measure the value of a site. Next step is to do an analysis of the site; my client in this specific case is in the gambling business. But I don’t generally worry too much about the subject. It all depends on in which stage of the external strategy you are at the moment...

BTW: Its OK to pick on me, I will send my rabies infested cat on them...

What else can 'What ever people think about PR, I find it to be a good way to measure the value of a site.'  Mean??

If a site is not riding high for it's keywords then whether it is a zero PR or a 9 matters not a single jot.

You have to realise that the Toolbar is a spyware gadget - it tracks useage -but only on Browsers that have the toolbar installed.
No toolbar - no PR - it is as simple as that. A gimmick -designed to sell adwords -with no SEO meaning.
