According to certain sources that new Chrome Browser was even more clandestine than even I thought of.  It was hoarding Bank Account details.  So what next?  Google Bank? - Google will progress beyond just being a Search Engine it has far greater designs than that. Google TV will be the next biggy - the day's of satellite and terrestrialTV are nearly over. TV's will be 'on line' PC/TV's - no more 'bad weather stops satellite transmissions. Films released in 2 formats - DVD and pay per view on line. Who knows, Google Airlines announces 'flight 878 is ready for boarding'.

Today they launched the 'GoogleEye' Satellite that travels around the planet photographing everything it sees - down to and including holes that are 16" wide - all that from 470 miles up.

There has to be far more to big G than what we are witnessing.  Your thoughts guys and gals.

It's more likely that the google toolbar getting card details isnt it? You can add them for the autofill tool. Not something i'd ever do though even if they do say its secure!

I certainly think that over the years many a 'sane' person has read Orwell - and some of those who are or were in position of power would most certainly get a buzz out 'the power trip ego' - or 'how I changed the world' - look at Hitler - he was driven by star readings - he had a full time horologist - Napoleon was nuts over matters occult - Alexander the Great was driven by his love of his male colleague (to be politically correct Grin) and used sooth sayers to determine his actions.

OK right now - I'm having some quiet fun with splong on the subject of todays beginning of the search for our creation.  And lets not kid ourselves here. If these scientists do prove that it was a matter of physics over creation then goodnight God - Good Morning Science - and how do we search these matters?  Through Google.

Its really interesting to see that they have post some words against Google and also using google adsense as well. I think this is really a nice way to get attraction.

If you want to be in limelight than use those persons who are already in limelight and I think these people are using that formula only.

So far Google is really great for a common being but however some time I do feel that google is trying to gran whole earth.

Google wants to take down Microsoft. Look for Chrome to be a gateway to an online office suite. For where I see Google going, I think that buying out Sun Microsystems would be a perfect fit.

Google wants every piece of the digital market including web, TV, and telecommunications. From there they can dominate the every digital advertising platform. If we don't watch out they may get it.

Google is really on fast track and every moment thousands and thousands people are attaching to Google. In coming years I am sure they will be a big power if they will keep this pace.

My thoughts exactly!

Twenty years ago 'we' speculated that 'the powers that be' or 'big brother' would have masses of information on every member of the population, from where they live, work, socialise, their political stance, who they know, what books they've read, what music they buy, which films they watch, parties they've attended recently, how trashed they got last monday night, any protests they've been involved in, whether they're for or against the war in Iraq or Afghanistan, whether or not the think 9/11 was an inside job and so on...  Twenty years ago the question would have been "but how are they going to gather all this information?"  Today the answer is simple...  We willingly supply all this info for the whole world to see in the form of social networking.  We leave electronic trails of our purchasing habits when shopping online.  Our bank statements are available online (supposedly in a secure section, my arse!) showing exactly where our money comes from and goes to.   It's all there and were not only embracing it but driving it forwards!

It's not just the internet though... we have satnav in our cars, CCTV in every town and city, CCTV in shops, bus stations, train stations, our mobiles phones can already be pin pointed to a location using triangulation so they'll know where we drive to and where we walk to.

The world is a very different place these days.  With all this surveillance and the info they can gather about each and every one of us either makes it more secure or scarier than ever.

'Tis strange (practice makes perfect Grin) that thou mentioned Sat Nav - The very latesy versions will tell you off if you drive badly and question the reason for the trip.

Here's how it will go.

Driver ' I want to go to Shepherds Market in London, lay in a course please Sat Nav'

SV ' Why do you want to go the Shepherds Market? It is full of prostitutes'

D 'Never mind morality, get me there'

SV 'I will first send an e-mail to your wife.

D 'I'll switch you off'

SV 'And how the shit will you get to Shepherds Market?'

----------------------

Whilst driving

SN 'Slow down, you are in a 30 MPH zone and you are doing 32 MPH'

D 'Fuck You'

SN 'Hello Police, my registration number is'

I really cant see what the fuss is about?

If you don't the world to know something, don't put it on-line. You still have that choice, in the same way you have the choice to buy GPS or not. If you do buy one then don't buy the system that informs the police when you drive past a brothel. It's not as if we don't have any buying power any more?

All these different social media sites arent exactly sharing this information so its all just data that is in no way interconnected? I dont see what the problem is, so facebook know when ive fallen out with my girlfriend and last.fm knows what music i like? SO WHAT!?
