You'll need a Google account... go here: https://www.google.com/adsense

Once you're logged in and verified you use their control panel to set up your ad block (size/shape and colours etc.) and simply copy and paste the code they provide into your pages.

If you want to do it properly (i.e. have any chance of making decent money, rather than just slapping a fwe ads up, watching a few pennies dribble in before proclaiming it doesn't work!) then I strongly recommend Joel Comm's book (no affiliation) called The Adsense Code - you can grab it on Amazon.

You'll need a) a site with LOTS of traffic and b) in a niche that is profitable, not all niches are equal by any means when it comes to Adsense.

Finally, if this is your first attempt to monetise your site look into other forms too - Adsense might be perfect for you, or it may not, but there is more than one way to skin a cat!

Good luck

And if they are taking time to approve your request than go to blogspot.com. Create a blog with your original contains and than put adsense code at there by their default gadgets. They will ask you to register, so from their register and I am sure with two or three days you will get the confirmation.

Best of luck.

What I would strongly recommend you is , start a site based on your favorite niche. Don't start sites just for the sake of Adsense or to make money via it. Keep adding qualitative content daily and money will follow

Mate now a days adsens is really paying very low. At least in India we are getting few cents for one click. This is not like old days. In 2007 usually I got $0.20 for one click but now thats turned into $0.02

Seems to me that now I will have to move to some rich paid niche.

Why did the price decrease by 10%?  From $0.20 to $0.02?

Effect of economy mate, we have seen golden moments and now these days as well. But this is the fact that if you have enjoyed the peak season than you will have to face off season as well.

But just have patience spring will be back again.

Tan you'll need to create a Google Mail account and then sign up to Google Adsense when you've done that you will be able to access this url whilst signed into your Google Mail account it seems to be the most comprehensive collection and it's from Google so you will not be miss lead or miss informed  Smiley

To start earning money with Google adsense, you must have a blog or website. Then add some quality content on it and apply for Google adsense at Google.com/adsense.

Once your application for adsense is approved, you are free to add Adsense widgets on your website
