Some weeks ago I heard on a Tv program that there is protection in language.  Then it is assumed that there is unique information that should not be public available or protected.

Sometimes, I paste this

ftp://ftp.daimi.au.dk/pub/beta/betabook/betabook.pdf

link may be too uncritical?

Americans are open on this:

http://www.internet2.org/

I am old enough to remember when The Soviet Union sent Sputnik into space.  As far as I remember, they had read an article how to make the satellite in an American scientific journal.  Krustjov,  aimed at winning that race.  He won and the Americans were shocked.

Here (I can read it  )

http://www.dmi.dk/dmi/rumalderen_fejrer_rundt_-_sputnik_fylder_50

is a Danish link to the story.  One of it's headings is

"Et politisk redskab"  A political tool.

So what do you think about the concept "protection in language"?

How is your opinions on

You will be surprised at how much info is on the net. I have always tried not to give out to much info, which is very hard to do at times. Bottom line is if someone wants to know who you are they can always find out. I would rather make it harder for them is all.

A person  who knows what he is doing  can get a lot of information on net. You think you are careful but the slightest slip somewhere can reveal all your info .It is just a matter of connecting dots.
