I need suggestions for commerce cart/site software for a PR3 customer with a little over 1000 tech products and plans to double within the next year.  The site is doing between 35000 and 50000 visits depending on the promotion and the season.

I need access or cooperation for his keyword phrases for Yahoo advertising and SEO.  He needs user CP for adding merchandise on his own.  I want landing pages for the 12-14 main catagories for maximum submission and linking potential.  Would best if he had shipping label capability in CP.  Promo coding and Gift Certificate database and tracking built in.  He uses Authorize.net and Pivotable Payments and would like to continue to.  Hosting is not an issue so hosted or not is fine, we need the software and cart/page design setup.

So any suggestions?

Money is important but not an obstical for the right set up.

Thanks
Baby

zencart.com might be what he is looking for. Check it out and see if this might be what he wants.

Thanks Web, but I am looking for a company to set it up, the portals and all.  Its is not way to big of a job for me, and it would need to be similiar to the situation he has.  Like I host the splash page then the commerce company hosts and controls the rest.  You know when you go to a site and the address changes when you leave the main page to store.something.com ...like that...with cp interface for him to add promos and merchandise.  Some companies even set it up and I would host it, just depends..I have found some, but have no referrals on then to know what kind of businesses they really are.

I would certainly take it on and get my feet wet if it was a smaller project to start with, but a million annual sales is not a good starting point.

Something like this nexternal.com

Thanks

Thanks, we had to make a decision this evening.  Went with these guys  nexternal.com.  They have a nice setup and because we are bringing much traffic and established sales in they cut us a decent deal on the fees.

They have some very nice features, and seemingly excellent customer service, I have spoken with them like 6 hours over 5 days lol.

Cross your fingers here we goooooooooooooo.
