We know about it but cant work out whats going on. I think it has to be a caching issue with the CSS and the forum software.

It only seems to happen if you clear the browser cache. I had it come up again when i visited the site using Google Chome.

On a similar note have a look at the page source of any page on this site. Line 62.

Code:
<span style="font-family: Verdana, sans-serif; font-size: 80%; ">UK SEO and Internet Marketing Forums - Index</h1>

Starting with a <span> and closing with an </h1> - Huh?

Corrected! Not sure what happened there.

What rankings!!???!!!!

If anything i've noticed pages struggling to get indexed but thats largely due to the way the forum software interlinks between pages. I've not got the time to extensively modify the code to sort it so it'll have to stay as it is!

Back on topic.

I've removed something i think may have caused the CSS issues, can anyone let me know if they get these problems again?

Yep still getting the css problems too.

To regular users it isn't too much of a problem but it could be to potential new users.

No apologies needed at all !! Maybe a non applicable solution or rather suggestion but, you could try changing the location of the stylesheet and using the ../ switch just a thought and easy enough to test could be a viable fix .. who knows you guys are the experts Tongue

I've isolated the problem and know whats causing it, know i just need to find out how to get rid of it....

We've got session ID's appearing in the urls when a use does'nt have any cookies present, try it for yourself and look at the source code. You want to look for this line:

Code:
<link rel="stylesheet" type="text/css" href="http://www.davidcastle.org/BB/Themes/default/style.css" />
