I could have sworn that when I previously updated my signature links that the change was only made to new posts and not all the previous discussions.   It would be nice if signature links would only get changed on new posts.  That way when we move onto new projects we do not lose the links we had built previously.  Is there a setting for this?

When ever you change your profile it will effect all post. It changes every post you make. Other way it would be way to hard for the software to keep track of what is what with your signature.

Yeah, sorry Gid, i not aware that PHPBB supports keeping 'old' signature links.

However you will find that Google only fully indexes all pages once in a blue moon so links will still be 'seen' by Google on many of your older posts.
