Hey guys, I have been really watching this project and collecting data.  I was able to track some stuff down last night (when I should have been sleeping)

Aparently, Grub can be run server side...which gives your sites a kind of "priority" crawl.  Jimmy announced that Wikia will launch in December, but there are already many engines using the Grub database..So it might be worth a trial.  I am going to "attempt" to install it.

Anyhow you can read the dirt here in my Blog Wikia community search

Personally I tend to shy away from anything that's not in final release.  However, one of my remote web guys is testing things out on a few of the sites.  I meet with her next week so I'll see if she has anything on paper with me as far as how this will change things.

Pretty cool, I had never heard of wikia.  Since I usually just click on the google link that brings me to the wikipedia article, that saves me valuable seconds of looking for which site came from a wiki. =)

I just did a couple of simple searches like "TCP/IP" "bloodwork" "california" and the relevant stuff came up.  Not bad at all.

I used wikia several times, but still i am not satisfied, i think it needs to be more specific and keyword focusing, i hope to see improvement soon. However, its a nice try.
